should describe the job.
Vocation lists roles with the salary, the team you would join, and what the first ninety days actually involve. If a company will not say, we do not list it.

We ask for the opposite.
A profile is a point.
A shortlist is a radius
You describe what you can do and what you expect to be paid. We hold that as a position. When a role opens nearby you hear about it, with the distance shown, so you can judge the stretch yourself.
Nothing is scored behind your back. Every match arrives with the reason it was made, and the roles that did not match stay exactly where they were.
A listing that will not name a salary is asking you to bid against yourself.
Which is why every role here carries a number, before you click.

Most applications are never opened. We publish our own numbers every quarter, because a market where only the flattering ones get shared is a market where nothing improves.
It also sets expectations. Four offers from a thousand applications is not a personal failure — it is the base rate, and knowing it changes how you spend a Sunday.
